October 31, 2011
{be inspired} will be posted every Tuesday featuring vendors, trends, and DIY projects!  Our goal is to inspire the brides-to-be and friends/family who may know a bride-to-be!
Inspired from the Heart reserves the right to remove any content (comments) that are self promoting as this day is all about our brides. Thanks for understanding!
So you aren’t a fan of flowers…
More and more brides are cutting flowers out of their planning. Whether it is to cut costs, they don’t want flower arrangements to represent their main decor, or it just doesn’t fit their theme & overall style. Whatever the reason might be, we have a solution for you! Below are pictures for different ideas that don’t include an ounce of {real} flowers…Pay attention to adding texture, dimension, coordinating colors and out of the box materials for your wedding decor.

Adding glass bottles in different sizes, colors, shapes and texture will add a lot of dimension to your overall decor!

Paper or fabric flowers tied onto twigs or manzanita branches are very rustic and Anthropologie-esque!

Bunches of wheat adds a country twist to the usual floral centerpiece.

Candles and pine cones are perfect for a fall or winter wedding!

YUM! Cupcake centerpieces are perfect for a cute look & a sweet treat for your guests!

Tissue paper pomanders are easy to make and instantly immitate expensive flower pomanders!

Succulants bring out fun pops of color and create an effortless vintage/rustic look. We love it!

Raw cotton is unexpected in weddings, but adds alot of "fluff" to your bouquet, centerpieces or other decor!

Let us know what your favorite idea for {non floral} decor is for a wedding! We would love to know!

Love, D & C.
